Clarification -

The next three posts are actually out of order. This dragon was made out of cards - they do that sort of thing in the hall ways at the convention center where we have GenCon. (They make all sorts of card structures. I should plan to be there when they knock them all down!!) So this picture of the dragon and the True Dungeon picture should be before the current post about family history and stuff because GenCon was in August and that was a while ago. But since I was telling you about D & D I thought you might want to see some pictures from GenCon.

Here we are with Uncle Jeff at True Dungeon in August after a dungeon run. It was really fun to have him and Johnny and Nick there. Nicole and Nate and Derek are looking forward to the day they get to go to True Dungeon.
Hi Everyone!

It has been over a month since my dear Tess helped me get this blog thing going so I'd better get on it! A few days ago I got back in contact with my cousin Beverly Gleason, daughter of Hanni Gleason (my dad's little sister). She is in Escondito, CA and we talked for 2 hours! It was great to hear how she's doing. She is also into family history and has a bunch of info and pictures. She even suggested that we do a family website. I'm not sure how I'd do that but it sounded like she might even know how. Then we could share family information with other people who we don't realize are part of our family. This could be the start of something big! I am going to try to find a picture of her mother to include in this post. I know I don't have a picture of Bev as an adult (or even as a child) in my computer files. But some of you will remember seeing Aunt Hanni's picure in the family history binders and stuff. I am continuing to work on my Family History class and learning good useful techniques. The picture actually has four of Grandpa Albert Gleason's siblings. The top left is brother Wayne, then Elizabeth. Bottom left is Stanley and the right corner is Hanni. They were all in the same picture scan. I think there is birth information also on the edges of the pictures.

In other news, the Pedersons and Lliam and Nedra came over this weekend and played Dungeons and Dragons for the first time! They had such a good time with Grandpa going through the CAVES! And Grandpa was completely in his element! I can tell this will be a big hit in days and weeks to come! I didn't take a picture of their little group huddled around the kitchen table with piles of polyhedric dice, and little lead figures, but I should have. They were totally enjoying it.
